Palm Collection. Jardín Botánico Culiacán

Palm Collection. Jardín Botánico Culiacán was coordinated by the Isabel and Agustín Coppel Collection with the aim of disseminating one of the most significant projects of the Jardín Botánico Culiacán (The botanical garden in Culiacán, a city in the north of Mexico): The National Collection of Palms, a collection that in 2017, the Mexican Association of Botanical Gardens recognized for bringing together the largest representation of palms of the national territory.

This compendium counted with the valuable collaboration of MS. Erika Pagaza Calderón, the botanical garden curator, and PhD. Scott Zona, who carried out the research accompanied by the botanical illustrations of artist Sofía Táboas.
